Reels are short videos you can easily create and enjoy watching on Instagram. They are a fun way to connect with your community over entertaining videos that inspire anyone to join in. It is the best way Creators can find a community that is deeply engaged and aligned with their interests.

Creating Reels Select Reels at the bottom of the Instagram camera. You'll see a variety of creative editing tools on the left side of your screen to help create your reel, including: Audio: Search for a song from the Instagram music library. You can also use your own original audio by simply recording a reel with it.

Once your Reel is published, it will appear in both your feed and the Reels tab on your account. Note: You can currently only create and schedule Reels on desktop (but you will be able to see your scheduled Reels in the Planner in the Hootsuite mobile app).
