If you would like to see a history of the pages you've visited, choose "Your data in Search" in the Settings Menu. This will bring you to your "Search History" Page in Google. You (and Google) are the only ones who can view this page. It's useful for finding sites you've visited but can't remember.

Go to Google's My Activity page (make sure you're logged into your Google account). Click the Delete button below the “Search your activity” field. Choose the time period you'd like to delete your data. All time will delete all your Google history.

Your web history is a record of all the websites you visit. All browsers log your history, and while it's helpful, you could run into potential speed and privacy problems if you never delete your browsing history.
